The new 2011 Custom Shop Limited Release headcovers are now available in the Scotty Cameron Custom Shop. Scotty designed two headcovers, the white version in leather ($116) and the blue version in our carbon fiber-like blue ($72).
If you’re interested, you have to send a putter into the Custom Shop to order either of these great new designs. Please keep in mind, you can only order one headcover per putter sent in. We do not sell Custom Shop headcovers separately. These will be available in the Custom Shop through December 31, 2011. Professional skateboarder Ryan Sheckler and his pal Rickie Fowler were all smiles before the 4th Annual Ryan Sheckler Celebrity Skins Classic Golf Tournament. Scotty got involved by providing a few putters for prizes at this special event held every year to benefit children and injured action sports athletes.

On July 17th , 2011, TCC’s Dan Horigan (HOHO) and Troy Darbyson (and his pants) organized the first-ever LEFTY event up in Toronto, Ontario, Canada (aka Land of the Lefty). It was a day where Lefty’s and Righty’s came together to celebrate the “BACKWARD” Cameron Collectors! There were almost 60 attendees who came out and not only battled the extreme heat , but also battled putting LEFT handed on one hole!

Cameron Collector Michael Russell from Victoria, Australia is on a mission. A mission to make Scotty’s 7 Point Crown Belt Buckles — which were part of the 2010 Club Cameron Membership package — individual works of art for his friends. Click on the image above to launch a slideshow of his buckles, each one a unique creation.
In Michael’s words: “Most were made as surprises for my friends. I did do a couple by request, but really enjoyed doing the non-requests more. Not sure how many more that I will be able to do, as I am almost down to my last buckle. I have been quite lucky, as a few were given to me by people that had seen some of my work. I have also had to buy a few. I refuse to accept any payment for my work, but have asked the recipients to keep their eyes out for any spare buckles.”

Continuing the tradition we started earlier this year (see Blog posting: Kids Named Cameron), we have a new child named Cameron. Here’s the story as told by the Grabowski family:
About four months into my wife Jennifer’s pregnancy, we went for an ultrasound, during which we found out we were having a boy. We went to dinner right after, and immediately started brainstorming names for our baby son! We were so excited to pick a name for our first child, especially since it took us 3 years to get pregnant. I happened to be wearing a Scotty Cameron polo that night, and Jen said, “Maybe it was meant to be that you’re wearing that shirt on the day we find out we’re having a boy. You love golf, you love anything by Scotty Cameron…why don’t we name him Cameron?” Cameron James Grabowski was born on March 3, 2011. We love the name, and I love that every time I see a Scotty Cameron item, I think of my son and how we chose his name. It also gives me another good reason to buy more of the great-looking Scotty merch!
