Scotty Cameron putter loyalist Jason Bohn is healthy again and back in contention on the PGA TOUR. Bohn finished sixth at the Verizon Heritage two weeks ago and stands at T3 at this week’s Wachovia Championship following a first round 4-under par 68. In a wide-ranging exclusive interview for the Titleist Direct from the Tour feature, Jason discusses the frustration of being injured, the naming of his new son (Cameron) and his switch to a new Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport putter that helped him finish second in Putts Per Greens in Regulation after the first round.

I love terms the guys come up with to describe things. For instance, I’ve heard the putter pictured below described as “Sick & Ridiculous”…and that’s a good thing! Anyway, we’ve got a new batch of photos from Tour live on ScottyCameron.com. Head over to see the rest of this “sick and ridiculous” beauty below. We’ll post more photos as they come in. Thanks for stopping by the Blog.

Just checking in with a slideshow from this week’s Northern Trust Open at Riviera Country Club up in L.A. I had a busy day shuttling between the practice green and the Titleist tour van, meeting with players, and helping my putter reps get the guys ready for action on Thursday. With the PGA Tour in such close proximity to the Putter Studio during the West Coast Swing, it’s a great time to catch up with loyal putter players to see what they are looking for as they gear up for the rest of the season.

The West Coast Swing has swung over to the desert this week and our putter reps are on the scene getting the best in the world geared up for this week’s event, which is already underway. I’m very excited with the response I’m getting from the new Studio Select putters on Tour, and I look forward to seeing more wins.
I’ve created a centershaft prototype that you can take a look at here in the slideshow. I’ve also included some shots from the practice green over at the FBR. Thanks for checking in and I hope you like what you see.

It’s been a busy week over here at the Sony Open, as the field has expanded to normal Tour levels after the winners-only field at Kapalua. Thought we may get a win with the new Squareback Xperimental Prototype over in Maui…here’s to one soon. Maybe this week!
It’s great catching up with loyal putter players, and I especially love surprising them with the latest Hula Girl headcover. Check out some shots from this week’s event here on the Blog by clicking on the thumbnail picture below, and also head over to ScottyCameron.com for more images from Oahu. Thanks for checking in.
