Inside the Studio: Titleist Ambassador Adam Scott
February 24th, 2010
As he does several times each year, Adam Scott dropped by the Putter Studio this week to get a look at his stroke under the lights and cameras. He also tried out a few new putter models. Click on the image below to see a few pictures from his visit.

Great blog post Scotty!
Thanks for the inside shots of the fitting. Which model was his favorite and worked out best for him?
Great blog post! However i’m very curious as to know what that putting tool in image 2 is? I’ve noticed it in all of the tour video’s and i really dont know what it is?
Thanks for the inside peek. Del Mar to Laguna… pretty interesting to see the range of models that Mr. Scott is testing.
can you tell me what the diff is between heel weighted and balance face putter are thank you art
To check the “toe hang” or “face balance” a putter, balance your putter by the shaft on your finger and see how the putter face lies in relation to the ground. For instance, many back-weighted putters are close to “face balanced”, as the face will run parallel to the ground when balanced. Several factors play into how the putter behaves when doing this simple test, such as headweight and neck configuration, where the shaft goes into the topline, and overall weight distribution, etc. Players who strive for a straight-back-straight-through stroke often prefer a face balanced putter over one with some toe hang, which will favor the arc-shaped putting stroke. JAT.
All the best,
Scotty
