Trusting his Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport putter, Titleist Brand Ambassador Andrew Dodt birdied two of the last three holes at the Avantha Masters in Delhi to close with a 4-under 68 and secure a one-shot victory. The 24-year old Australian, who began the day one shot off the pace, won with a 14-under 274 total to claim his maiden European Tour victory. Dodt is The European Tour’s newest Member after taking affiliate membership the previous week and instantly finds himself among the top ten in The Race to Dubai.
PGA TOUR: AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am
The event winner relied on his Scotty Cameron Newport 2 to secure victory making it the third event won on the PGA Tour this year with a Scotty Cameron putter.
#1 BALL, IRON, HYBRID, WEDGE and PUTTER: According to the Darrell Survey, Titleist was the overwhelming golf ball of choice at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am with 103 players (66%), more than five times the nearest competitor with 19. Titleist was also first in iron sets with 45 players (29%), compared to 30 players for the nearest competitor; sand, lob and approach wedges with 129 (38%), more than double the nearest competitor with 57; and putters with 63 players (40%).
