Custom Shop Creativity
April 8th, 2009
The Custom Shop invites you to send in your new and old putters alike for all sorts of customization and/or restoration. Usually, a simple cardboard tube will suffice. But, many of our customers prefer extra precautions. Take, for example, the putter shown in the picture above.
We’ve received putters shipped in all sorts of protective barriers. But this one takes the cake. Zip-tied to a 2-by-6, reinforced with cardboard, this Studio Select arrived a week or so ago in perfect shape. This did give us quite a surprise, and although we don’t encourage folks to send in putters in this fashion, we thought you’d find this interesting.

Nice.
Sheeshh, Scotty, my custom-made Cameron Turkey Call gets no love?!?!?
Have a great year!

Wow,
I really would like to know the guy that did that…Gotta be a TCC member?
Thanks for showing this, I’m sure a blopper video would be a smash hit….
Are you going to pimp that board for the guy and ship it back to him? Maybe you could send it without the putter just to see what he says.
Scotty, Just simply begs some questions,
“Are you going to re-attach it to the Board to send it back?
Have you got a Yellow Box big enough to accommodate the length of the Board?
We (TCC) would love to know what it was sent in for. There is some speculation that he only wanted a Paintfill change! Without going into any details is that correct?”
One of the funniest things that I have seen for a vry long time.
Cheers Michael
That is awesome! It is better to be safe than sorry with something as precious as a Scotty Cameron putter!
That’s classic right there!
Thanks for the laugh.

WOW, thats one way to ship in your putter. Would it save the custom shop any money to send putters back out like this. Cutting costs is the name of the game.
Now, that is what I call shipping protection, LOL….
I understand the feeling of the shipper.
He heartily loves your putter.
Good job!!!

Must have been shipped by USPS, then took the precautionary measures to make sure it arrives safely.
Never to safe, or a t least he hopes. Scotty very nice to meet u down at Ritz Carlton at Reynolds Plantation. Hope all is well and the headcovers and putters u produced for the masters are awesome.
Wow, this guy loves his Cameron!
I’m impressed.
Marc Shaner (ashmarc) wants the rest of his deck back. Please ship it back to Vegas!
Hey scotty, I just sent my studio select fastback down your way, and i am proud to say I did not pack mine like this… Rather it is still in its original factory sealed bag. Really I have not even seen the putter out side of its head cover. Have fun with it!

Scotty, I have three Catalina putters and it seems the shaft orientation in each of them is different. Is the Catalina supposed to be a slight toe hanger or should it be face balanced???
Thanks, Richard
