Scotty,

You’ve really outdone yourself this time. In over 12 years of collecting, it reminds me of the first time looking at a Scotty. AMAZEMENT!

Thanks for keeping things fresh. I think I found a new meaning for SW as well….SICK WICKED!

Mr. Cameron,

Thanks for sharing. Can never get enough.

Any chance the “Timeless” design will migrate to the public as a Limited Release or OTR?

Thank you,
Nick

Scotty,

the Timless putters are very nice (oh wait… they are amazing!) and the Ball Tool medallion is another sweet idea (and a nice memory for the winners at the M&G!).

Thanks for sharing all the new photos!

The twist-neck with the checkerboard graphics is SO sick…the neck kinda reminds me of a drill-bit. The swan one is very unique as well. Well done, sir! How do you come up with this stuff Scotty?

Hello Scotty-san,

Thank you for update of the blog.
I remembered an event and, to see slide show, was very excited .
I like twisty in slide show.
Of course the other putters were very cool, too.

It is one question.
What is it to be careful in particular when you make the swan neck?
I wait for your answer.

Best Regards,
TOMOHIRO

Scotty wrote on November 3, 2008 at 12:24 pm

Tomohiro-san,

I am careful not to heat the neck too much, as it could break when bent. Thank you for your comments.

All the best,
Scotty

As we say in Cromwell, Connecticut, these putters are straight-up narsty (that’s a good thing).

Erik wrote on October 29, 2008 at 8:36 pm

Scotty, These pieces are without a doubt some of my favorites. It looks like you really went the extra distance to come up with some originality on every piece. I hope I am fortunate enough to receive one.

As always, thanks for sharing.

Thank you for sharing these great photos. I think you should have a weekly/bi-weekly/monthly photo blog of what you are working on. What is the design philosophy for the Timeless design?

Scotty wrote on November 3, 2008 at 12:23 pm

Classic + Modern = Timeless. It’s utilizing modern milling and materials with shapes and designs that are classic. JAT.

Beside the fact that the gift of allowing us to see these beauties, I have to say it is cool to imagine how much fun it would be to create seemingly without restrictions and still make putters that are so perfectly balanced and useable.
I envy your career (and your marketing sense),
Charles

Thanks for your great work over the year.

WOW, The damascus steel looks amazing. Glad to see your making all SS models without inserts. the timeless looks well ‘timeless’.

Will these ever go retail?

Also, have you ever thought about using brass like the old bullseyes for a Catalina or a Sonoma. that would feel amazing IMO :)

Scotty wrote on November 3, 2008 at 12:31 pm

They were made available to those interested through http://www.cameron-museum.com. Maybe a few are left?

Scotty

chris wrote on November 4, 2008 at 8:03 pm

I didnt realise that you ever made brass putters….I bet they are like hens teeth. I have an old bullseye from the era were you modified them but i would love a catalina/sonoma.

Your a great man and an even better engineer…..My dad said if he left mill marks on anything he would have got the sack!!! PS hes not a golfer BTW!!

Keep up the great work

Scotty. I am fairly new to the game, owning only six of you putters. Needless to say, I love your work and creativity. I hope that you will bring some of these to market but if you don’t, you still have all of us in awe of your talent!

Scotty,

I am a huge fan of all of your work and I have to say that the 009 My Girl is one of the most beautiful putters I have ever seen. It is a must own and I do plan on buying one when they come out! Great work this time around!

Thanks for all of your amazing creations,

Scotty,

I am your biggest and youngest #1fan. I had sent an email to the custom shop for you. They said that they fowarded my email to your email. I will wait for your reply since I know you are very busy creating masterpieces that are truly a testament to the true art of putting. I really love your creativity, and can appreciate it very much even if I am 14. I wanted to collect more of your putters but could never afford one.
Anyways I tried to design some putters of my own, they look OK but nothing close to yours. Any tips and advice would be very appreciated. When I grow up I want to be just like you and design putters. I want a milling machine but they cost to much for my single mom.
I love your new timeless designs especially the spiral neck one. Very beautiful.
I am your #1 fan. Thank you for your astounding creations.

That neck on the Twisty reminds me of the forks on a classic lowrider bike. Give that thing a velvet grip and we’re in business. Job very well done.

Are they ‘Lefty’ unfinished NPII GSS putters i see in some of those slides? Will we see a lefty ‘Timeless’ putter?

Hey Scotty!

Obviously I am a little late for the party here, but by googling “scotty cameron timeless” today I was directed to this blog. What a terrific surprise!

I feel very fortunate to currently have in my possession not one but two of the putters shown in the “Prototypes-beyond” slide show.

The first is the 029 Scoty Dale L., with an OC finish and some very colorful paintfill. The double stamp’d 9 is a dead giveaway, and you will be happy to know that the putter is being proudly displayed for all to see.

The other is one of the crowns of my collection, the No.5 Timeless Prototype. The picture of the Timeless stamped up but not yet paintfilled just floored me…seriously! And, the story behind the 4/5 stamp just makes the putter even more special. This one takes my breath away every time I give it a good look, and it is one of my most reliable gamers to boot!

The only thing I can imagine that would be more special would be a Timeless with my name on it….I can’t even imagine that!

Please keep up the great work, continue to explore new territories with your vivid imagination and talent, and enjoy what you are doing.

All the best,

doctorkev
