Inside the Studio with Titleist Ambassador Adam Scott

June 10th, 2008

Titleist ambassador and current World No. 3 Adam Scott stopped by the Putter Studio last week for a quick pre-U.S. Open putter tune-up. He’s a frequent visitor to the Studio, as are several other top touring professionals who we just can’t name. Whether he wants to take a look at his stroke under the cameras or just have me touch up the paintfill in his putter’s sight line, it’s always a pleasure to have this world-class player stop by. As I always say, if you listen you may just learn something. Who’s to say that what we design today might not make it into the line tomorrow? Adam’s input is always appreciated. I hope you enjoy some photos from his visit.

Is that a black 08 U.S. Open sunshine headcover that you are showing Adam Scott?

I for one am anticipating an “Inspired by Adam Scott” putter. By the way, that US Open cover looks a little different than the ones released today. 1/100? 1/1? Prototype? Gift for Adam? Either way, I like how you casually sprinkled it in there.

Thanks
Erik

Adam was gaming his white US Open cover today during the final practice round. Looked sweet in the bag. I too am wondering about the black one? Scoop, Scotty?

Mr. cameron, i too have been hearing alot about the inspired by adam scott putter. Any chance that, if made, it will be available in left handed??

Scotty wrote on June 25, 2008 at 1:12 pm

Probably not, Matty.

Scotty,

I was extremely fortunate in being able to obtain an IBAS GSS (COA A011601) from the Museum in Japan last week. It is simply incredible, both as a wonderful display of the “Art of Putting” as well as being a lethal weapon on the greens. I carded my best round of putting ever, with 11 putts on the front and 10 on the back!

Please tell me you will be making more putters like this so as to spread the joy around!

Thanks, Doc

Scotty,

Is there only going to be a limited number of the Adam Scott inspired putters? If so, how can I get one?

Thanks,
Michael

Scotty wrote on July 1, 2008 at 4:04 pm

They will be limited, if they are made, and they will be available at Titleist golf shops around the world.

Scotty Dog,
i love everything that you do, putters, headcovers, all the limited creative collectibles that you make, but please, as Matty said in a previous comment, left-handed? Us backwards people (or whatever they call us) would love to see something special…even just a maybe would make me happy…….
love your stuff

Scotty wrote on July 1, 2008 at 4:03 pm

Ok, James. Maybe. =)

Take care,
Scotty
