U.S. Open Week in San Diego
June 9th, 2008
Wow, it’s here! The season’s second major, the U.S. Open here at Torrey Pines. It’s been a very busy spring leading up to this event. We’ve had lots of players come through the Putter Studio, as well as local and national media. Some are interested in the craft of putter making, while others are interested in the science of putter performance. Keep an eye open this week for fun golf coverage from not only San Diego, but the Putter Studio, too.

ah… the master at work. I bet you did have quite a few people by the studio making last minute adjustments. Just how many did you have?
Scotty:
Nice to see the media outlets keeping you busy.
It’ll be nice to see the attention that you, the best puttermaker in golf , get this week. You richly deserve all of the kudos that you can receive from the publicity.
Nice shots of the happenings Jason, my friend……..:)
All the best on this BIG week .

Seems as if there is a sartorial shift from putter making (casual) to discussing the science of putter performance (chic).
Either/or….Looking good!
I hope to see some of the “live” coverage captured within the pics above… But, moreover, I am looking forward to seeing some fine milled flatsticks televised this week at Torrey Pines!
Everyone at the Putter Studio have a wonderful week, and I will keep my fingers crossed that this years US Open champion is kissing his Cameron come hole 18 on Sunday.
Cheers,
