We can add those sight lines on either putter in the Custom Shop. Keep in mind that the Newport comes without any lines, so you are starting with a bit of a blank slate there. The NP2 has a single line in the flange already. We cannot remove that one, only add one on either side, or on the topline. We will have new Custom Shop stamping options available soon. Hopefully this week.
Thanks,
Scotty

Scotty,

I am about to pull the trigger on a newport or newport 2. I really like the alignment line on top and two on the flange that I have had on some past putters. Can the custom shop do this? Also where all can you stamp initials on the newports? Thanks.

I'm reading this question about the differences between the mid-slant neck versus the plumber's neck. Are the lengths of the necks very different?

It appears that the neck of the mid-slant neck of the new studio select seems to be a bit shorter than the longer necks of the mid-slants from the pro platinum of 1999. Am I right?

I am going to purchase my first Cameron Studio Select when I decide which model to buy.

Thanks.

Our tour van services only touring professionals. We won't be able to stamp your putter there. However, you can always send it to the Custom Shop. And, for the time being, there are no plans to make a Skull and Crossbones stamp available to the public, but I won't say we will stick to that plan forever. You never know.

Take care,
Scotty

Scotty

I just added a Studio Select Newport 2 to my bag. This is the 6th Cameron putter I have bought starting with a TEi3.

Is it possible to have a putter stamped at the tour van during a stop? I live in Hilton Head and attend the heritage every year.

Will the Skull and Crossbones stamp be available to the public?

Love the Studio Select. It is awesome.

Yes, sir. Stepless. I'm really liking the smooth look of stepless shafts right now.

Best,

Aaron,

Good question. Both neck configurations have a full shaft of offset, each has 1/4 toe hang, and you're absolutely correct...it's a visual preference. The plumbing neck's socket is in view on that setup, and the mid slant neck just smoothes it out as you look down on the ball. The choice is up to you.
