The Millionth Pivot Tool

January 30th, 2008

I was presented with an unexpected gift today. Our one millionth pivot tool has been milled. Can you believe it? It seems like just yesterday that my daughter and I were playing around with this prototype ball mark repair tool on the greens at La Costa. Now, there are a million out there. Just awesome. To commemorate the milestone, the guys gave me this gold one. I probably won’t game it. I’ll send it to Fukuda San to display in the Museum. Just thought I’d share it with you. Take care.

Thanks for sharing this with us Scotty.

I think that is a fine gesture and fabulous idea to send it to Fukuda San and make it part of the Museum.

I look forward to finally making the trip over to Japan and meeting you this year at the gathering. It will be my first journey to both the Museum and the Land of the Rising Sun.

Keep up the fabulous work! You’ve been putting out some incredible sticks lately.

Kindest regards,

Ryan

Congratulations Scotty! In honor of the occasion you should add a page to your website showing how to actually use one. From the looks of the greens at my muni, I’m guessing very few golfers know how…or perhaps most of the million are also in museums.

beautiful but too soft to use, send it to the museum. Maybe 14 carat for course use… or platinum

Congratulations,
Hat’s off on your foresight in this latest creation. The museum seems like the correct home for this gem.
Thank you for contributions to the golf world. David H.

Congratulations on a fine accessory for the goling community. I have a question. Recently I lost my pivot tool, but mine was somewhat unique in that it had an extension coming from the rear of the tool which I used for holding my cigar when I was putting. I have not been able to find another one like it. Are they still avilable and if so where and how could I obtain another one?
