Winning, continued…
October 8th, 2007
We had a long-time Scotty Cameron putter playing professional add another win to his record at the Valero Texas Open yesterday. This major-winning PGA Tour veteran trusted his Tour Del Mar 3.5 in 3X black to take him to victory (btw, this was the 16th on the PGA Tour this season won with a Scotty Cameron). Congratulations!
Along with that win, we have another win in the “family”. Avid Cameron Collector and recent mother, Carrie Loheider, took her club championship at Bicknell Country Club in Indiana by four strokes. She used her Custom Shop Santa Fe TEI3 (coa #A002088). The most impressive thing about her victory was that she hadn’t played golf in 13 weeks (5 weeks before her son, Coby, was born). She birdied her first hole Saturday and never looked back, ending Sunday’s round with a four shot victory.

Scotty, I was wondering if you were coming out with a new family of Newports anytime soon. Thanks.
I’ve got some new putters coming out that I’m very excited about. I’ll let you know more about them when the time is right.
Thanks for stopping by,
Scotty
Congrats Carrie. I spent the better part of two hours talking to Carrie and her husband Chris at the 2007 International Cameron Collector’s Convention. They are incredible people. I was amazed that Carrie was willing to be standing that long in line-waiting to meet Scotty-given she was 6-7 months pregnant at the time.
It’s great to see these little human interest stories.
