2007 Club Champs

This is something you might not see covered in the major golf media, but I thought I’d give a shout out to my friend and our Cobra Tour rep Chris Tuten for winning his club championship a few weeks ago. Here’s a shot of him hoisting the champions plaque his name will be added to. And, hey, wouldn’t you know it…I had a string of a few good rounds and won mine, too. Congrats to Chris!

Scotty: I knew from what I saw in Japan that your game was sharp!!! And Fukuda-san also raved about your game after you had left Japan.
Good to see that it carried over into The Bridges Club Championship recently.
You know how I love trophies and that Baccarat(??) Crystal Trophy that you are holding sure is a beauty!! Or is that Waterford Crystal that you are holding. It is totally sweet regardless.

I was lucky enough to grab my Club Championship as well. Studio Design 3.5, with 07 Masters cover in the bag for the win. Fun to be called “Champ” for a year, but somehow you end up giving more strokes.
