Just thought I’d show you Davis’ 009 after its trip through the Custom Shop. This is on its way back to Davis right now. If you’d like to see the way it looked before, you can click here: http://scottycameronblog.com/2007/05/25/davis-love-iiis-009-prototype/

Dude! you amaze me every time! It’s always something that seems like it just needed to be that way. You give each one just the right feel and flavor. Your work is true art that keeps us wanting more.
Fantastic job.
All I can say is wow. The restoration turned out fabulous. What else should we come to expect from the Studio. I love the finish and the looks of DL III’s proto 009. This putter exhibits why Oil Can is such a tremendous finish, and one of my favorite finishes. Great job Scotty and the Studio! Thanks for sharing the finished results.
Sam
Scotty: magnificent job on DL 3′s 009 resto. just another example of your artistry. I can’t believe how the dings on the topline are absolutely gone…DL3′s putter looks brand new!!!
fantastic job, Scotty. I’d love to see DL3′s face when he opens up the box and sees his putter.
Regards, Eddie
Again I say WOW!!! The creativity in your work is amazing. Each piece is even more creative than the last. I hope to have a wall full of your work someday.
Keep on keepin on.
Pat
I think it would be cool for you to offer an oil can finish on a putter sold to the public, or give us a chance to get a different finish in Scotty’s custom shop.
it is nice to see perfection at it’s finest. I only wish I could putt with one of the copper 009s to see what the feel is like…till then will have to stick to the old laguna and catlina?????
Great Work! I just hope that DL III had a good backup flatstick to use in the meantime…
