Good read. It would be interesting to see some photos of the early Scotty Cameron putters if you had any of them. Especially, some of the first ones made in the garage.

Looking at some pictures of Scotty at the U.S. Open at Oakmount brings back to me meeting and talking to him last year at Winged Foot. Been to a ton of golf tournaments and I have never(I mean never) meant a more classy and friendly gentleman. He signed autographs for at least 2 hours near the putting green (how ironic !!!) and talked and conversed with all spectators that were interested. I mean he actually enjoyed it. Which is extremely rare but I have great admiration for a man of this caliber.

Hello Scotty-san!

Cameron putters become a best friend of a tour player and pray for winning by the US Open in Japan.

Thank you.

What a great story, and excellent comments from Sam.
Scotty obviously deserves all the success he has.

Some European pros are about to try the torpedo shaft with
Scottys head design, I trust it will be an excellent match up

Not sure if Scotty reads this. In any case this is directed at him. I was trying a competitors clubs and they were using the new Dynamic Black Gold shafts, they are stepless with a silver but neat non-glare finish. Very cool looking. Anyways I find that if I am facing the Sun, my current putter shaft throws reflective concentric circles around the head during my backswing which is incredibly distracting. Anyways, I was hoping you guys could offer some non-glare shafts before I send my putter in to be restored.

Thanks

Nice article regarding Scotty and his putter presence on the Tour. The quality in design and manufacturing is evident when nearly half of the tour professionals at most tournaments play with a Cameron. That, to me, speaks volumes to great design and manufacturing. If a Cameron putter is good enough for touring professionals then a Cameron putter (or three) are good enough for me!
