Scotty Dog Keychain

People ask what I do for fun. I like to come up with unique stuff beyond putters. Special things that I would use and want. I create some metal sculptures, trophies, furniture, and even fireplace screens. I’m always looking to make something that catches my eye and gets me excited.
I got this idea a few weeks back when I was setting up the mill for a small run of Circa 62 No. 6 GSS putters. I had just enough steel left to do something fun with, so I decided to mill out a Scotty Dog.
Our Scotty Dog has become one of the icons of the Scotty Cameron brand. I like to incorporate him into different designs. Over the years, he has made all sorts of appearances on headcovers, golf shirts, ball marks, hats, putter stamps, etc. Now, he can be found here as a keychain. Made from GSS, with a famous Cherry Dot and vertical stamping, this design may seem familiar to some of you.
The pictures you see here are some of the experimental millings, engravings and designs I was playing around with on the road to the final design. You’ll have to wait and see exactly how it turns out, as I’m still tweaking the details. I might make a small run of these, but right now it’s JAT.

Love the Scotty Dog, especially one with a Cherry Dot, very recognizable logo, it has struck up many a conversation whether it be on one of your tees worn to the beach or on a F&G worn on the course…keep ‘em coming!!

How do you think of this stuff? I wish I had an ounce of your creativity. You would sell a couple to me. These just gave me an idea for early Christmas shopping for the other Cameron fanatics in my family!

Great idea for a limited production, especially for the Cameron Museum event in Japan…a Cherry Blossom Scotty Dog keychain.
I know it’s tempting to make this a collector’s item, but please make this available for us little guys. I would use this key chain just as much as I use my Studio Design #5.
I cant afford a 009, or a circle T, but it would be great if this key chain would be released It would be on the Keys right next to the diviot tool. Please release them to us common folk.

We love this keychain. We are both sheet metal workers in the construction trade, and we own 2 scottie dogs. Of course we both own Scottie Cameron Putters as well. Please, please give us access to these ASAP. thanks
Thanks to a wonderful friend who attended this year’s gathering at the Scotty Museum in Japan. He got me the key chain, I was debating whether to use or not, but after a serious consideration, I’ve decided to use it on a daily basis, like the rest of the Scotty products. They are meant to be gamed!
Love the Scotty Dog Key Chain, it certainly gets me smiling on a rainy day. Also, a nice way to own a piece of GSS, since I can’t afford the full GSS putter.
