Just wondering if the top flat surface of the grip is supposed to be parallel with the sightlines and 90 degrees to the face when looking down from the end of the grip. Sometimes I could swear the grips are on crooked and the putter face is closed. Is that possible? My eyes sometimes play tricks on me and I never really know if what I see is really the way it is. I've got seventeen Scotty putters and love them all.

Scotty,
Thanks for sharing an insight to what stirs your emotions.
My question to you, is, with all the artistic creativity you have expressed in your putters, headcovers, cash covers,apparel,etc..
Have you ever done more than doodling on your workshop benches? I'd be more than a little bit interested to see your sketch pads come to life in this Blog.

I'm sure several of you have vintage Scotty's that you use on a regular basis. I had my 1997 Newport restored by the Custom Shop over the winter and they did a fabulous job. If you have been considering using this service I highly recommend it. You certainly don't want anybody other than Scotty's craftsmen working on your gamer. Mine turned out so well it belongs on my mantle!

Thanks for all you've done for me and all your other loyal followers, there's simply no substitute.

All three paintings are very cool and capture you well, but I like the second one the best.

I generally don't blog, but felt a need to comment. Thanks for sharing with your putter fans!

I've been taking some swing coaching from a guy named Saatzer, who told me a story about a young kid he saw making innovative clubs back in the east or mid west many many years ago. He was talking to the head designer who was experimenting with different materials (like Titanium and graphite epoxy) and saw this kid in the back of the shop. He then asked if I had heard of Scotty Cameron. I said yes - I own one of his putters. Well, you were that kid in the shop. Wish I could remember the other fellows name, but I'm sure he is not as famous as are you, but I.m also sure this story might bring you to remember your early beginnings.
Congratulations on your successes - and my thanks for making me a better putter!
